Guess what? I’m down one pound again! WOOHOO! So relieved. I was worried I was putting in all this effort for nothing.
You might be saying, “One pound? Big whoop.” And honestly, you may be right. Big whoop. I lost a total of 15 pounds on the Whole30. One week into the Whole30, I had made much more progress in the scale department than I am here. But I had two more people today tell me that I look like I’ve lost weight. One pound doesn’t do that. Also, my clothes are fitting differently. One pound doesn’t do that either. At least, not to me! Once the cleanse phase is over, I am going to retake my measurements.
Whenever we visit with B’s parents, we go out for brunch before they hit the road. So I woke up and had my Fruit Punch Spark, then before we left for breakfast I downed my Fiber and off we went to First Watch. For breakfast I had an omelet with bacon, avocado and cheese. I refrained from the potatoes and english muffin. I was surprisingly full after breakfast.
I skipped the mid-morning snack because I was still full from breakfast.
Lunch was leftover ribs, green beans and steak.

Afternoon snack was a cucumber with hummus. J had some cucumber also. He would only eat the center though. Throwing the peal on the floor, he would ask for another piece. Thanks buddy! I’ll just pick that up for you. 🙂
Dinner was at my parent’s house. Grilled chicken legs, an amazing salad my brother-in-law made, and green beans with bacon, sauteed onion and a squeeze of lemon. Everything so delish but I’m ready to be cooking at home and in total control of my food again.
