WholeLife – Life after Whole30

We just finished our Whole30, and today, we both feel like crap.  Maybe we celebrated our major accomplishment a little too much last night.  It was so nice to unwind with a glass of wine, eat some cheese for the first time in a month and not be so strict about the ingredients in dinner.  1 hour after eating, B admitted that he didn’t feel very good.  I had to admit that I didn’t feel very good either.  Damn this healthy eating!  It really does make a difference in almost all aspects of life!

Knowing this, we are now embarking on the next phase: Life after Whole30.

We decided that we want to stay pretty close to the Whole30 guidelines.  Eating real food does make you healthy.  So, here’s to day one of the rest of our lives!

One of the great things about doing a Whole30 is that it takes you out of your normal food routine.  We found some amazing new products.  One of my favorites is Naked Bacon.  It is really, really, really good AND has no added sugar.  Yeah Whole30 compliant!!

INGREDIENTS: Pork, sea salt, water and spices. It doesn't get much better than that!

Naked Bacon shows up in our breakfast almost every day.  By most standards, that is too much.  Oh well!
